The hardest transition is the first, from individual contributor to first-level leader/manager
New managers have to gain new skills, value new activities and adjust how they spend their time in meaningful ways
Careers are made / broken at the transition from role to role!
Successful leaders at all levels re-evaluate what they do and both add new behaviors and abandon others they advance
Leadership is a process - you never stop learning!
